One big draw of this delightful town is the fact that so many hotels feature breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, reflecting red in the sun. One fine choice is the Southwest Inn at Sedona. Featuring mini-fridges, complimentary coffee and gas fireplaces, the hotel also offers up a swimming pool and spa and is nearby both outdoor activities and art galleries and restaurants. Enjoy being allowed to include your pet in your vacation so they, too, can enjoy the nature trails.

For the urbanite, more interested in the culture and shopping options of town than physical pursuits, the La Quinta Inn Sedona/Village of Oak Creek is a great choice. Although this hotel features all of the expected amenities such as Wi-Fi, robes, and free breakfast, the real draw is the location in Oak Creek Village, playing host to an array of galleries, shops, restaurants and even Tlaquepaque, a recreated Mexican village.
