We love to BBQ. The tantalizing smells aside, who doesn’t love the perfectly cooked steak, shrimp kebobs, or delicious grilled vegetables? For variety, throw on a pizza, flip some burgers, or grill a whole fish. Whatever you are craving, now is the season to get out and get grilling!
We were fortunate at home to have a very large covered palapa that allowed for year-round time spent at the grill. Weekends at camp nearly always included at least one meal done up on the BBQ.
For a few years now, all of these grilling options have included the use of a nonstick, reusable, easy to clean BBQ grill mat. We were first turned on to these by a friend and once we used them have never gone back to grilling without.
No more filthy grill to scrape. No more grease fires. No more losing that delicate spear of first of spring asparagus to the fires below.
We are, haha, labeled “super eaters” as it were, enjoying most things edible, and have grilled fruits and veggies, steak and fish. We grill garlic bread, make a mean pizza on the grill, and have even fried eggs using these mats.
Here in our apartment in Puerto Vallarta, they are still coming in handy! Last night we did teriyaki chicken and this weekend chocolate cookies are on the agenda.

Enjoy summer and get out there and get grilling….
Hey, those grill sheets look pretty darn interesting and worth a second look! And that steak looks SO good! Can’t remember the last time I ate a grilled steak as I eat very little red meat. But you know, call me the next time you throw a steak on the grill! 🙂
No worries! We cook chicken or veggies on them most of the time 🙂
I love occasional bbq with my friends, and that mat is going to be so useful! Ordering on Amazon right now, thanks, guys!
Thanks so much Patricia! We are sure you’ll appreciate the easy of grilling with our grill mats as much as we do.
We grill at least 2-3 times a week for ourselves and employees. I do believe I will give these a whirl.
Really enjoy reading your adventures. Some day life will lead me down to Mexico for more than a few weeks a year.
Get a tan for me!
Thanks Lori! Will appreciate you supporting our sales (and guarantee you’ll love them!), as well as following along on our journey. In San Miguel now and mostly overcast so no tan but never fear! We’ll find sun again.
