Lately I’ve been spending a great deal of time daydreaming about Africa. While I love many places I’ve traveled to, Africa holds a very special place in my heart, and I miss it deeply. Here, the view from the top of the sand dunes of Namibia at sunrise…. pure magic.
One early morning sand boarding in Mui Ne, Vietnam, I turned my head and spotted this lone sole in the dunes, soaking in the sunrise.
The sand dunes of Namibia are often considered the highest in the world, and border along the great Kalahari desert. Whether or not this claim is valid becomes immaterial once you see them, be assured the dunes at Sossusvlei in the Namib Naukloft park are well worth the effort it takes to get there.
Today’s photo was taken on the sand dunes near Mui Ne, Vietnam. Mui Ne is a wonderful beach town with some gorgeous dunes and is the fish sauce making capital of Vietnam.
